East Wheal Rose
East Wheal Rose is a spacious former farmhouse in a quiet country location close to the village of St Newlyn East and within a short driving distance of both the seaside town of Newquay and the city of Truro.
St Newlyn East provides local shops, post office, and a pub, along with a village hall and church. Newquay and Truro offer all the public amenities and resources one might expect, such as high street shops, leisure facilities and colleges. Some of the best beaches in the country are not too far away on the North Cornwall coast.
East Wheal Rose provides accommodation for up to three individuals. The house is laid out over two floors with a bespoke self-contained apartment on each floor. The upstairs apartment consists of a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a kitchen and lounge/diner. Downstairs there is a large kitchen, lounge and a dining area as well as two bedrooms and separate bathroom.
There are extensive gardens at the side and rear of the property.
The staff team has an on-going training programme which is designed to meet the needs of the service users within Spectrum. Training is monitored and routinely refreshed to ensure that all team members are working to the same consistently high standards and that each service user is safe, healthy and happy. All team members work to person-centred planning principles to ensure that the service users’ own aspirations and needs are understood and fulfilled.
