Pendarves is situated in the old mining town of Camborne within walking distance of the recently refurbished town centre where there is a variety of high street stores, cafés and pubs. There are good bus and train links with the rest of the county. Not far from the house there is a library, leisure centre and college. There is easy access to several other facilities which provide varied social activities.
Pendarves is a spacious Victorian property which can accommodate four adults. The ground floor consists of a kitchen/diner, and a large spacious lounge. On the first floor there are three large bedrooms, one with its own private lounge, and all with en-suite facilities. On the ground floor, there is also a self-contained apartment which has a lounge/dining room, kitchenette, and a bedroom with an en-suite wet room.
On one side of the property there is a lawned garden with a patio area. At the front of the property there is a driveway, parking area, and another area of garden.
The staff team has an on-going training programme which is designed to meet the needs of the service users within Spectrum. Training is monitored and routinely refreshed to ensure that all team members are working to the same consistently high standards and that each service user is safe, healthy and happy. All team members work to person-centred planning principles to ensure that the service users’ own aspirations and needs are understood and fulfilled.
