Tanglewood is a spacious four bedroom detached bungalow with over half an acre of land on the edge of Lanjeth, a village not far from the ancient mining town of St Austell.
Lanjeth has good public transport links with St Austell where there is a range of public amenities and resources as well as high street shops, cafés, pubs, leisure facilities, colleges and various other community facilities. The world-famous Eden Project, Cornwall’s major attraction, is only a few miles from Tanglewood.
Tanglewood provides accommodation for up to four individuals.
The main accommodation consists of three bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite bathroom), a large lounge, separate dining room, kitchen, another bathroom, toilet, and an activity room. Outside, there is ample parking. Additionally, there is an adjoining independent flat with its own entrance for one service user consisting of a kitchen, en-suite bedroom, and lounge/diner.
At the back of the property is a patio area that leads onto a secluded lawned garden with a goldfish pond and a vegetable plot. There are glimpses of pleasant rural views over the surrounding countryside.
The staff team has an on-going training programme which is designed to meet the needs of the service users within Spectrum. Training is monitored and routinely refreshed to ensure that all team members are working to the same consistently high standards and that each service user is safe, healthy and happy. All team members work to person-centred planning principles to ensure that the service users’ own aspirations and needs are understood and fulfilled.
