Trelawney House

Trelawney House is a modern detached property set in extensive grounds in the hamlet of Polladras to the west of Helston.  Polladras is a short walk from the attractive village of Breage (pronounced Breeg) which has a post office, pub, church and a village hall.  Just a few miles away is Rinsey Beach, one of Cornwall’s finest small beaches, from which can be accessed some of the most picturesque stretches of the coastal footpath.

The historic town of Helston is famous for its Flora Day, a popular annual celebration for the beginning of spring.  The town has a range of high street stores, banks, cafés, pubs, a cinema, leisure centre and other attractions including a boating lake, park and a skate park.  Helston has good public transport links to nearby towns.

Trelawney provides accommodation for up to six individuals in a peaceful, rural location. The house is light and spacious with a large kitchen and an open plan lounge and dining area.  There are six bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and there is a self-contained single person apartment which has its own bedroom, lounge and bathroom.

The large grounds which surround the house are mostly laid to lawn. There is a patio beside the house and an area which is used to grow fruit and vegetables.

The staff team has an on-going training programme which is designed to meet the needs of the service users within Spectrum. Training is monitored and routinely refreshed to ensure that all team members are working to the same consistently high standards and that each service user is safe, healthy and happy. All team members work to person-centred planning principles to ensure that the service users’ own aspirations and needs are understood and fulfilled.
