Trewithen is a beautiful, large detached house set in picturesque bluebell woods near the village of Troon, not far from the old mining town of Camborne. The house is within walking distance the town centre where there is a variety of high street shops, cafés and library. There is a major college campus and a large leisure centre near the town. There are good public transport links from the train and bus stations.
Trewithen provides modern, spacious accommodation for up to five individuals. There are five large bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. There is a large lounge which is decorated to a high standard, a large open plan kitchen/dining room with doors out in to the back garden which is on two levels. The house also has an activity room for art and music etc. There is a lot of space at Trewithen which gives people the flexibility to determine their level of social interaction
The private garden and patio at the rear of the house provide a peaceful setting in which to enjoy being outdoors. The front of the house is approached by a wooded driveway and beside the house are a garage and a summer house which is currently being refurbished.
The staff team has an on-going training programme which is designed to meet the needs of the service users within Spectrum. Training is monitored and routinely refreshed to ensure that all team members are working to the same consistently high standards and that each service user is safe, healthy and happy. All team members work to person-centred planning principles to ensure that the service users’ own aspirations and needs are understood and fulfilled.
