Working & Training At Spectrum, we like to employ people from all walks of life – a caring nature is what is most important.
Just as anyone would, people with autism relate to people from a variety of backgrounds. Our team consist of individuals from all walks of life who have been recruited for their caring values. All of our team members are given initial induction training before starting work and will continue professional development throughout their careers with spectrum.
The induction training is spread over two weeks: It’s aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of autism and statutory requirements relating to care work. New recruits who do not already hold a care qualification will be given the opportunity to complete a level 2 health and social care qualification within the first 12 months of employment. Following completion of the level 2, we provide opportunity to progress up to degree level study.
