2 × Positive Behavioural Support Leads

Full Time

39 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (39 hours per week)

Salary: £23,000 per annum

Location: One near Blackwater, and one near Truro

Closing date: Sunday 12th December 2021

Since it began in 1982, Spectrum has grown to become a leading provider of specialist care for autistic adults and children. We are a charity and proud of our track record working with children and adults who have complex and challenging needs. We operate 18 residential homes, a community outreach service and a specialist education centre, all within the beautiful county of Cornwall.

We are currently looking to recruit two Positive Behavioural Support Leads (PBSL), one to be based at Rose House and the other at The Mowhay, who will assist the Registered Manager and the care support team members in developing and maintaining a high-standard of care practice by implementing and delivering person-centred care planning and ensuring that the service operates to maximise service-users’ quality of life.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Whilst a recognised leadership and management qualification or diploma in education and training is not essential, it would be advantageous, but what is more important, is your ability to support, develop and enable our care staff.

If you are interested in this role, then we are interested in hearing from you! To find out more, please call the home managers, Fred at Rose House on 01209 899048, or Mandie at The Mowhay on 01872 264595. Or email recruitment@spectrumasd.org to ask for an application form.

Please note that all offers of employment with us at Spectrum are conditional upon your passing our compliance checks; including right-to work, satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us) and evidence that you are either fully vaccinated against Coronavirus or medically exempt.
