Since it began in 1982, Spectrum has grown to become a leading provider of specialist care for autistic adults and children. We are a charity and proud of our track record working with children and adults who have complex and challenging needs. We operate 18 residential homes, a community outreach service and a specialist education centre, all within the beautiful county of Cornwall.

We are currently looking to recruit Positive Behavioural Support Leads (PBSL) who will assist the Registered Managers and the care support team members in developing and maintaining a high-standard of care practice by implementing and delivering person-centred care planning and ensuring that the service operates to maximise service-users’ quality of life. The PBSL identifies behaviours of concern and works with the behavioural team to devise, implement and share person-specific strategies with the home’s support team that will address the behaviours.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Whilst a recognised leadership and management qualification or diploma in education and training is not essential, it would be advantageous, but what is more important, is your ability to support, develop and enable our care staff.

Please note that all offers of employment at Spectrum are conditional upon your passing our pre-employment compliance checks; including right-to work, satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check for both adult and children’s workforces.
