Job type: Permanent, full time.
Hours per week: 39.
Salary: £30,000 per annum.
Holiday entitlement: 25 days annual holiday, plus eight days Bank Holidays or eight days in lieu of Bank Holidays.
Work base: Any designated Spectrum establishment.
The position of Registered Manager in a home for autistic adults is one of great responsibility. Your primary concern is the safety, welfare and happiness of the people in your care. This depends on you and your team carrying out your duties with attention to policies and procedures, regulatory and statutory obligations. The manager participates in and oversees the running of the home, delegating duties where appropriate.
But above all, the focus of everyone who works for Spectrum are the autistic people for whom we provide care services and how we can encourage them to take part in planning their lives, to make choices, participate in community activities and be valued members of society. Good management and leadership are crucial to these aims.
